The Persuaders created The Aperol Big Spritz Social: a fun and immersive experience that was infused with the Italian spirit of spontaneity, hosted in Shoreditch. Following some Aperol commissioned research, that revealed that the British population were in need of a dose of spontaneity, The Persuaders designed an unforgettable consumer brand experience which conveyed the infectious Italian spirit of Aperol. Consumers could pre-purchase, or walk up and buy tickets for 2 daily sessions, to embrace spontaneity and enjoy the summer with Aperol.
The Aperol Big Spritz Social had a playfully interactive environment which included an Aperol coloured canal to row on, a decked terrace and a bespoke Pergola complete with a wooden slide that compelled sociability, as it allowed two people to enjoy the ride at the same time. A series of sociable seating areas were available to visitors that included an Aperol-orange ball-pit, a giant orange grove and a stunning multi Vespa seated carousel that turned slowly throughout the night. This was topped off by the uniquely designed, biggest ever Aperol Spritz Bar which served Aperol Spritz all night long and allowed consumers to experience an Aperol Spritz master class.
Event targets were smashed with pre-bookable tickets selling out for all 15 sessions within 3 days and PR and Influencer targets being exceeded with 133 pieces of media coverage and 266 influencer posts being generated, which had a reach of 6 million.
