2017 was a proud year for POD. Our team grew to seventeen full-time employees – a huge increase from six in 2016 – and win six major new clients, including our single biggest client win ever. We delivered high profile campaigns and created dedicated in-house teams with new ways of working, while more than doubling the size of our business.
We supplied over 800 expert staff over 11,500 shifts. That’s an average of over 30 a day, 7 days a week, over 1 year. These shifts were split across a range of projects; sales to store; hit squads to data-seekers; mystery shoppers to category specialists.
We ensured scale did not sacrifice quality. 2017 saw us provide make-up artists for Maybelline, retail teams for Selfridges, tech experts for Google, mixologists for Schweppes, beauty squads for Birchbox, Christmas champions for Coca-Cola, and dedicated coaches for the launch of IQOS’s biggest ever alternative, anti-smoking campaign.
Lastly, and arguably most importantly, 2017 reaffirmed that it’s the details that make us different: we stay true to our core morals and motives. We had 100% head office staff retention rate, received our best ever client feedback, and our people-lead approach to recruitment and project management ensured we delivered incredible results for our clients and our business while having fun along the way.
