Bazaar At Work Summit

Bazaar At Work Summit, Hearst UK
In its 150th year Harper's Bazaar wanted to create a legacy for women. The inaugural Bazaar at Work Summit was a one-day luxury conference. This was the first time that Hearst Live had delivered a B2B paid for event.
The Summit brought together Britain's most inspiring female leaders for a life-changing day of empowering talks, thought-provoking panel discussions, interactive workshops and unmissable networking opportunities.
The Summit boasted an aspirational agenda which aimed to challenge, inspire and captivate other business women. Access offered at a quarter of the price of other UK corporate events ensured women from business of all scale and size were invited to participate.
To launch the Summit, Harper's Bazaar published a list of their 150 Visionary Women which was announced and celebrated the evening before.
The list featured, and the Summit welcomed some of the key stakeholders within several UK business sectors. Names included: Alison Loehnis, President of Net-a-Porter, Susie Lau, write of Style Bubble blog, Samantha Cameron, founder of Ceffin, Tor Garnett, Detective Superintendent of Met Police, Emily Maitliss, Broadcaster, and Livia Firth, founder of Eco-Age.
Hosted at Sotheby's, the space provided an elegant and luxurious back-drop for the fitting to its audience and Bazaar's art allegiance - a unique offering within the corporate sphere.
The event generated a profit in year one.
